|   | Biography Coen Pots
Born in October 1976 with a huge love for eighties rock. I never liked solo projects for guitarists because of the self centered foolish amount of notes and speed,
but enjoyed guitarplayers in a band like Van Halen, Toto and the Dire Straits because of the well placed functional guitars in a song. But mostly because of
the composing skills these guys showed for many years. Therefor I also like Michael Landau as a guitarplayer, for example on the CD of Richard Marx.
When I was 14 years old I started playing in bands as a guitarist. A few years later I decided to play bass and earn some money. In 2000 I started working as a fulltime professional guitarist in Major League, a well-known rock cover band. When I finally discovered after a year that my complete social life got ruined, I quit. At that time I started a new commercial band with Jeffrey van Heuven van Staereling, the lead singer of Major League. We played in The Netherlands, but also Germany and Belgium. In wintertime I also started teaching on a music school.
Since 2002 I'm a member of Aquila. This is my first band experience with their own music. Together we've spent a lot of time in making the new record. In 2003 I've decided to quit earning money with covering others music and started an audio production company. That company produces commercials, jingles, library-stockmusic, presentational music and track for singers. For two days a week I'm teaching young teachers how to develop good music education on primary schools. Sometimes I'm asked as a guest speaker for The Rockacademy in Tilburg.   Coen Pots - Eric Derix - Fred Hendrix - Emiel Scholsberg - Ron Hendrix
