Biography Ron Hendrix

Born in the village Horst in the province of Limburg in Holland.
His father was an enthusiast music lover and bought an organ. But he didn’t have the time to play it himself so he send his sons Ron and Fred, who were at that time ten and twelve years old, to the local music school.
They were sixteen when they joined their first band called Wolfe. Later the name of the band was changed into Delta.
In 1985 they joined a band called Poalo Zoppo. In 1986 Paolo Zoppo reached the finales of the “Nu of nooit” talent scouting and recorded with the other finalists an E.P. They recorded a song called “I am what I am” for this.
Ron was also part of Fred’s Solo career 1987 and they were “Popkrantgroep” (a talent scouting) at the National Radio Station called the VARA. They recorded three songs in the VARA studio that were broadcasted one entire day every hour.
At the age of twenty-two he started a career as a freelance entertainer.
1992 was the start for his first big success with the band Terra Nova.
The first to release their debut album “Livin’ it up” was JVC, Japan, in 1996 and it was a big success right from the beginning. September 22nd, 1997 was the release of their second successful album called “Break away” and March 10th, 1999 was the release of their last album “Make my day”.
